Please read these conditions carefully before using the Reclinerworldonline.com website. By using the Reclinerworldonline.com website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions and are to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. They do not affect your statutory rights.

Payment

We require payment in full at the time you place your order. Payment can be made by either debit or credit card, or cheque payable to Recliner World Ltd and sent by post to;

Delivery

All delivery dates and times quoted are approximate. Whilst every practical effort will be made to accommodate customer’s requirements no guarantee of time can be given.

Where a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier but the customer isn’t present to receive the delivery we reserve the right to charge the customer a minimum of £25 to cover part of the cost of the failed delivery.

No claims will be accepted for inconvenience, loss etc caused by unexpected or unavoidable delays in delivery.
Cancellation will not be accepted once goods have been reserved, stored, cut or despatched by our selves, or by our suppliers. Orders are only accepted on this basis.

Privacy Policy

Recliner World Ltd does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties.
We treat all your personal information as confidential, and fully comply with all applicable UK Data protection and consumer legislation in force.
We only use such information to fulfill your order, and by placing an order with us you authorize us to obtain the necessary information about you from third parties, such as credit / debit card companies, in order to authenticate your identity, credit / debit card validity, and to authorize transactions.

Returns & Money Back Guarantee

Here at Recliner World we want you to be delighted with your purchase. That being said, we know it can be difficult to purchase a recliner chair without sitting in it first. To help reassure you we offer the following guarantee.

"If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason whatsoever you may, within 14 days after the date of delivery, return your goods."

Some Points To Remember
  • If you decide to return your goods, then you can either arrange to return the goods yourself, or we can collect them for you. If you choose to use our collection service then you will be charged £35 which will be deducted from your refund.
  • Please be aware we use a one man delivery and collection service, please ensure someone is on hand to assist the driver.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging or equivalent. Items which are not adequately packeged at time of collection may be refused by the courier, and a charge of £25 may be levied to cover the cost of the failed collection.
  • Monies relating to the returned goods will be refunded within 28 days of receipt of goods. Where you the customer has paid for a premium delivery service, ie Before 12 noon or before 9:30am we will only refund the full amount for the chair, not including the delivery cost.
  • If no notification by phone, email or in writing has been received by Recliner World Ltd within 14 days of delivery, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.

Have Your Goods Arrived Damaged? In the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged please follow the steps below.

  • If your goods arrive and are noticebly damaged, please refuse the delivery and inform us of the problem.
  • If the goods look fine at the time of delivery but are internally damaged when opened, please follow the steps below.
  • Notify us by post, phone or email within 14 days that your goods are damaged, and details of the nature of the damage.
  • Let us know whether you would like the chair repairing, replacing or whether you would like a refund.
  • Please keep the original packaging as the goods will require repacking for the return trip.
  • Items which are not adequately packeged at time of collection may be refused by the courier, and a charge of £25 may be levied to cover the cost of the failed collection.


Specifications / Dimensions

Whilst most products are made from identically machined components to a standard specification, individual hand upholstering may vary slightly from different operatives.
All dimensions are therefore approximate. Due to a policy of continuous improvement, manufacturers reserve the right to modify designs, specifications and materials without prior notification.

VAT

For all orders in the UK VAT is included at the standard rate of 17.5%

Health & Safety

(Electric lift or recline chairs).
When using the chair in the lift or recline position ensure that children and pets are kept away from the chair. The chair will stop immediately if you take your fingers off the hand control.
To avoid accidents with children and pets whilst the chair is unsupervised, we recommend that the power supply be disconnected when the chair is not in use.

When the footrest is in the open position ensure that no unnecessary downward force is applied, to prevent damage to the scissor action. Always keep the chair away from the wall to avoid the back hitting the wall and causing damage to the motor.

WE RECOMMEND THAT ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES ARE SWITCHED OFF WHEN NOT IN USE.

Colours

Sample cuttings, swatches and on screen colours are approximate and can vary within normal commercial tolerances.
Colour variations are unavoidable from one dye batch to another. Exact matching cannot be guaranteed from different batches, different widths or if ordered at different times. Colours change dramatically under different lighting conditions.

Manufacturers Guarantees

Guarantees vary from 12 months up to 15 years. Terms of guarantees vary from manufacturer to manufacturer generally to replace faulty parts only and do not include transport and labor after the first 12 months from date of delivery.

Whilst replacement parts may be guaranteed for longer periods; after 12 months a standard call out charge of £45 + vat will apply to cover costs for a home visit.

Title

Whilst the risk in the goods shall pass to the purchaser on delivery the title to the goods shall not pass to the purchaser until full payment of the purchase price has been received by Recliner World Ltd. and clearance of all cheques and / or credit card payments obtained. Reaching Us
